Six-Step Personal Programmes

My Six-Step programmes are perfect for you if:

  • you want help with an issue that is affecting your mental wellbeing
  • you don’t want the intensity of 1:1 therapy
  • you feel more comfortable in a group setting with like-minded people
  • you want practical, real advice to empower you
  • you are ready to make a commitment to rewire your brain

The Six-Step Programmes

Currently there are four six-step programmes:

  • Putting yourself first – stop people pleasing
  • Managing stress – coping with a busy, challenging life
  • Being at home in your body – boosting your body image
  • Managing anxiety – reclaim your life

The programmes use a combination of proven therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy combined with an element of Life Coaching.

Managing anxiety

Reclaim your life

This six step programme is for you if you find your anxiety has become overwhelming and is stopping you from doing things in your life. It could be related to social situations, specific places, phobias, food – any anxiety where you feel panic and dread, and possibly physical symptoms.

Working together we will rewire your brain so you can manage the anxiety and it not be a barrier to you. You will be able to feel more relaxed and in control.

This six-step programme is for you if you continually put others first and find it difficult to say no. You worry what others think of you and you would rather put yourself out than offend someone.

Working together we will look at why this is the case and how you can work towards being more assertive – being able to say no when needed.

Managing stress

There are times in our lives when the demands placed on us can become too much, we feel high levels of stress which then manifest themselves physically.

If this is you, if you have a highly stressful life then this six step programme is for you. Together we will work to help you understand your stress and look how at you can manage with a variety of techniques and strategies.

You will be able to feel more in control and able to deal with your stress.

At home in your body

People of all shapes and sizes suffer from poor body image. Avoiding photographs, feeling shame, engaging in obsessive rituals around exercise and weight, continually wishing you looked different.

If this is you then this six-step programme is just for you. Working together we will change your perception of your body, become more self compassionate and unafraid of photographs or undressing with the lights on!

There is no in-depth psychological analysis involved and by working in a group, we provide support to each other, be accountable to each other and most importantly, have some fun on the way.

How do the programmes work?  The programmes are online, using Zoom, with a limited number of people.  Sessions are recorded so don’t worry if you miss a session – you can catch up.

Some of the time is spent as a whole group, some of the time is spent working in smaller groups supporting each other.

They are run early evening – GMT – and last for 1-2 hours each over six consecutive weeks.
